Susan A. Abookire, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.P. is an internist, assistant professor at Harvard Medical School, and a leader in health innovation. With a strong background in public health and internal medicine, she has driven transformative change in health systems, clinical quality, and organisational well-being in the United States.
She is a Senior Fellow at Harvard's Advanced Leadership Initiative and a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, integrating nature and forest therapy into the promotion of personal and organisational well-being. She has worked on the development of pioneering programmes that link evidence-based medicine with restorative practices and preventive approaches, both in academic institutions and large healthcare systems.
