Trevor Walter is the Landscapes and Forest Restoration Programme Coordinator
at WWF Chile and leader of the Transformational Initiative on Forest and
Landscape Restoration for Latin America. In his role, he promotes the restoration
of degraded ecosystems and coordinates landscape restoration initiatives in the
region.
With a background in global initiatives, he has represented WWF Chile at
international events such as the COP25 panel on Landscape Restoration
Investment in LAC, labelled the Ambition Emergency Room. He also coordinated
regional market studies on sustainable pulp and paper, related to the promotion of
FSC-certified products in South America.
Trevor Walter has been a spokesperson for the organisation on social media and
at events, promoting integrated approaches to forest restoration within global
climate change and biodiversity frameworks.
