The Community, stakeholder in Campus Naturaleza

Various scientific studies show that a permanent relationship with the natural environment enables people to develop themselves in a context of comprehensive health.

It will be an initiative with regulated access, as it will be located in areas of high conservation and biodiversity value, with the presence of unique and irreplaceable flora and fauna species. Therefore, the university needs the community to care for, protect, and value this place, making it a source of pride for future generations.

Once the project is implemented, families will be able to visit, following safety and nature protection guidelines. It will be a space for contemplating the natural environment, education, and recreation, with trails and signage to ensure the safe transit of visitors without disrupting the ecosystems present in the area.

However, there are activities that are not compatible with the project, such as walking pets. This directly and indirectly affects local biodiversity. Domestic animals, even if vaccinated, can transmit diseases, and their mere presence and scent alter the behavior of native fauna; in addition, there is a risk of direct attacks on various species, such as the Pudú.
